Engaging in the World

In Humanities throughout Year 7 to Year 10 at Loreto College, students explore four main strands:

  • History
  • Geography
  • Civics and Citizenship
  • Economics

We aim to engage students in both the contemporary world and on past events that have shaped the world that they live in. We develop the girls’ critical thinking skills so they can confidently move within all aspects of society, whether this be in career, business, politics, outdoors or in any profession and country they choose.
